Scarab Triathlon Club

Membership of the club is required to attend swimming sessions. We allow new / prospective members to attend a couple of times without paying for membership to make sure the club is for them.

Our coaches give their spare time freely for the swimming sessions - we do not pay them, unlike a number of clubs in the Greater Manchester area. This does mean that we are able to keep our membership costs relatively low, although there are a number of expenses which the membership fees pay for:

​

• Public liability insurance.

• The costs of retaining essential qualifications (First Aid etc).

• Purchase and maintenance of equipment (floats etc.) which are used in the swimming sessions.

We do ask that people try to make it to swimming sessions when they can, as the pool hire fee is fixed and paid irrespective of how many people turn up on the night.
